Burgess definitely needs to work on his heading in the opposition area, he wins so many headers and the one he missed last night was a bit of a shocker. He never gets them on target it seems. Agree to disagree on the Dewsbury-Hall challenge, not a stonewaller for me. |  |

What made it a stonewall pen for me was that Burgess barged with his shoulder into DH's back. If he was level you could make the case for strong defending, but in the end it's not been given because the ref couldn't see it. |
I think according to the actual rules of the game it was a penalty, but referees have generally been waving away that kind of penalty shout for and against us all season.

Basically over the last couple of years refs have internalised the idea that there's a high bar for penalties, they've got instructions to evaluate whether "contact" is sufficient to send a player over and think about the attacking player's "motivation". |  |
