He doesn't seem to get himself set and just bundles both in - is once unlucky and twice careless?
Not specifically blaming, but feels like a learning point that he needs to get turned to face the ball so that he can react for when they get flashed in. |  |

Yes 100%.
He is too square on to the goal, basically running back towards it and needed to adjust his body shape else the inevitable happens which it did.
Needed to at least adjust his body at the last second to face the cross and then could have dealt with it better. Not sure where he was running to as his man was 10 yards away behind him. |  | | |

Was mentioned on the sky commentary actually.
Saying that he knows there’s a huge chance that ball is wacked across goal, and he needs to be aware of that.
Must say, on a few occasions lastnight defensively (first half) he did look a bit suspect. |
im yet to be totally convinced defensively he's a premier league standard defender. Going forward, with the ball i think he is.
He will need to choose his next club wisely if he gets an offer from the premier league. |  | | |

I definitely think it can be worked on.
But last night:
No touch from Hladky = no own goal
Strong touch from Hladky = no own goal
Weak touch from Hladky = own goal
I’m no way stating it was Hladky’s fault either. Just bad luck I think. |

I think in terms of the goal last night, he moves quite late into the goal area (6 yd box), and he’s still running towards goal when it comes in, so isn’t able to set and turn away from goal.
If he’d opened his legs and let it run through it would have put off the incoming attacker on their right.
But yes he could have done better in body positioning. |  |

Deflected? I’ve watched that 4/5 times, it pretty much goes through the keepers hands, I reckon it moves an inch at most, so it’s effectively hitting LD regardless. |

Thought he looked shaky last night but, like most of them, was so much better second half and his input to the goal was quality. This isn’t a dig because he’s great, but I do think he struggles with the press more than most, and I thought he struggled at Leeds too. Overall, we’re just not used to teams approaching the first half like Leicester, and they have a team of players more than capable of playing at the level above. Easy to forget that Davis is only recently 24 too. |  | | |

Little bit of both in my opinion, made a mistake and got unlucky. Not sure they will focus much on it individually though, we collectively had a wobble in the build-up to that goal as McKenna alluded to.
Hladký was great last night, but in my opinion that move did expose his greatest weakness. Right from when he joined us, he has never looked comfortable when a ball is played across the face of goal like that. The rest of his game has come on leaps and bounds, but he nearly always looks indecisive when a ball flashes in low-mid height from wide. | |

There were eight Town outfield players in the penalty area at the time the ball was played across with pace by Ndidi and all eight of them were facing the goal as the ball was played due to the pace of the Leicester attack.

If Leif Davis had been a split second quicker getting back the ball would have passed behind him, if he had been a split second slower getting back the ball would have passed just in front of him.
