I’d rather he hadn’t mentioned us. Much better to tootle along under the radar. But in reality I couldn't care a less what commentators, pundits or managers have to say about us. Southampton? Who cares. Or the others. Bully for them, or otherwise.

Southampton have to play Leicester, Leeds, WBA and us away. If they come out of that lot with a good points haul then maybe you can accept they deserve to go up. Now they are twenty games unbeaten they are getting closer to losing a game!

It was the same, if not worse, in 2000/2001 season in the PL, it was always how other teams were poor against us, not how good the likes of Jermaine Wright, Veno, Holland, Magic and Stewy were. We were the only team to win at Anfield that season as well, still limited praise. I now quite like how we are quietly going about our football, going into February in second place on equal games and on merit as well. We just have to accept it, smile, enjoy the journey and see where we end up in May. |  | | |

What utter bollox - I’m assuming that you’re not trolling.
Sky are an entertainment business and as such they want the season to be as exciting as possible be it the PL or the championship etc. The fact that the top four of the championship is quite tight(ish) means that it’s good for business as more people will tune in.
