Also these days people obviously travel around & log in on their phones. |
We don't allow people to use VPNs in the registration process and we check every IP address. We stop a lot of spammers in this process. |  |

You derailed your thread the instant two posters appeared on it orford, which would suggest you need to put them on ignore now. Herbivore provided his opposing opinion in a respectful manner, but you took immediate umbrage and declined the conversation; you would need to change your mindset in order to conduct civilised debate with him at this point.
Stokie's appraisal of your opinion was somewhere between good-natured and withering, depending on one's state of mind. By connecting him to Herbivore, rather than challenging his post or defending your own, you demonstrated that he's another you're unwilling to engage with normally: reasonably or unreasonably, rightly or wrongly; I don't follow the backstories as attentively as I should, but without proactive steps this cycle will perpetuate.
