Walton hasn't exactly shone when given a chance this season.
Hladky might have done better with the second goal but Wolfy and Fridge were the most culpable. |  |

When you say recently, he was man of the match against Leicester just two league games ago in a game where we could have been 5-0 down at half time.

Although we had 21 shots today (7 on target) we made very few clear opportunities, apart from the one Chaplin should have buried in the first half. West Brom were well organised at the back & we've been struggling to break teams down since Hirst was injured. Moore did OK & offers something a little different, but you could see in the first half that he was sometimes not on the same wavelength as the other players. |  |

How do we stop this from happening? Feels like teams really don't have to create too many chances to score against us - it's been a pattern all season and it is so frustrating.
First goal today Woolfy has to just make a foul and let us regroup. Second is a terrible pass out from the back, but even allowing for that Hladky has got to be saving it. |  |

Thought Hladky was slow to go down for the second but Edmudson should never have put us in that position with his poor pass. We had all the momentum before giving the ball away.
One thing I noticed today was that we were very poor putting in tackles higher up the pitch. Desperate swings at the ball that saw our man easily taken out of the game, leaving WBA with more me attacking than we had defending.
Poor defending is costing us every week but we need to be far tougher in the middle of the pitch and on the flanks.
We seem to be a very easy team to attack against. | |

I think the stats for Preston were only 2 shots on target by them, due to Edmondsons own goal.

It wasn’t material to the outcome or goals scored, but seeing Hladky in the centre circle in the closing stages was definitely one of the more heart stopping moments I’ve had following football! |  |
