Tips from Coventry fans at work 13:37 - Apr 30 with 3451 views | bluesbrothers | Go a goal ahead, and make it a very non-controversial game/don't wind the fans up.. we'll walk it
Tips from Coventry fans at work on 13:40 - Apr 30 with 3378 views | JackSted | Just been on the Coventry forum - they seem pretty certain they're gonna get battered, and they think they're going to rest a lot of players carrying injuries as it's not worth the risk of a long-term injury. They also seem more focused on their QPR game as they wanna go out with a "bang".

It not being their final home game tonight could end up having an impact there.

Tips from Coventry fans at work on 13:49 - Apr 30 with 3202 views | bazza | To be fair, we must be one of the most placid teams in the league, we don’t go mad with challenges and we don’t wind fans up, I think that’s why most people like Ipswich.

Apart, perhaps, from Samy?…this ref has booked him twice in previous games…

Where are we with Sammy yellow count? I know a booking tonight means he can play on Saturday. Would a booking tonight and Saturday impact the play offs/start of next season?

He's still on 13 yellows so as long as he avoids a yellow tonight or a red in tonights or Saturdays game he will be available for the playoffs. That's amazing considering how long he has been walking the tightrope!

All this talk of us battering Coventry is making me very nervous. We've been in this situation before, important players missing from the opposition team, should be a walk in the park for us - then somehow the replacement players play even better, and we end up losing. I hope their fans are right, but I also hope their players aren't spurred on by this and put in similar performances to the ones against Wolves and ManU.

Think we are the 2nd highest for yellow cards.

Is that a ref issue, rather than a sam issue.

I don’t think they are for aggressive intentional fouls , I believe we are mid table in the fair play league? I think we’ve been very unfortunate at times with the yellow cards also, with some under par refereeing .

Pretty sure if Morsy gets booked tonight and again on Saturday then he'd receive a three match ban and would miss either the playoffs or the first three Prem games.

Red card suspensions are carried over to the new season, but not yellow cards. Any suspension would include the play-offs.

You're saying the same as me but looking at it from the opposite direction? If he avoids a booking tonight the only way he can be suspended for the playoffs is by getting sent off on Saturday.

Apologies! I'm so stressed about tonight that I didn't read your post properly. Hopefully we won't have to discuss red cards or play offs later!
