Arsenal have had trouble for years because their wage structure was much lower than the other top teams although they have adjusted that recently.
But if Brandon Williams is rumour to be in £60k a week at ManU no way Nketiah is on £100k a week, both are squad players |  | | |

Arsenal have had trouble for years because their wage structure was much lower than the other top teams although they have adjusted that recently.
But if Brandon Williams is rumour to be in £60k a week at ManU no way Nketiah is on £100k a week, both are squad players |
I believe it, at times Nketiah has been a regular for Arsenal and has played for England, 100k is still only 1/3 of what their top earner get.
I don't believe this rumour anyway, he doesn't fit the mould of what McKenna wants in a striker - we've seen with Hirst who gives so much to the team, Nketiah is just a poacher who would score goals but we'd lose so much of how we play |  |

And here is the trouble. We have a United squad of players at the moment, do we not remember last time when all of a sudden we signed likes of Sereni and Finidi George and completely unbalanced the squad in terms of players wages . Al Hamadi is an interesting one.
He has certain attributes that would translate (strength, relentless determination) and if he were to come off the bench and hit a hit streak of two or three goals then he will suddenly be worth at least £10 million.
But, crucially, he is now 22, so wouldn't count as a "free" squad member under the "Homegrown" under-21 rule.
Hutchinson would count as a "free" additional squad member beyond the usual 25, if we were able to get him to return.
Cameron Humphreys is also interesting from this perspective. He is young enough to count as an additional squad player, but is the club better served by loaning him out? | | | |

With Al Hamadi did we buy him with a long or short term view? Other clubs were apparently circling around him and we jumped in quickly to buy him before they did, which suggests to me it was long term. However was the view he would be better suited to the championship next season if we failed to get promotion.
Personally I think he could surprise a few teams in the Prem next season. He clearly has the physical strength, and from reports carrying an injury, maybe a fully fit AH could become the unforseen gem. | | | |

At the risk of getting slaughtered on her , are these tow players actually anything special ? I ask because they dont seem to have played many games and its a lot of money / wages for a player that hasnt played that much . I accept they will be better than we have currently got , but are they that much better , for the money ? |  |
