You were arguing that genetic memory (as in inherited) existed, something which isn't scientifically proven and the consensus is that it doesn't exist.
Collective memory is the sharing and passing down of stories and knowledge. They are totally different things and you shouldn't be trying to equate them.

I believe this to be a false argument, you are applying too much weight to theoretical research which is at this moment completely unproven. You are essentially attempting to give it equal weighting to established and proven science when that isn't appropriate at this stage.

From my limited interaction with Banksy, I would say that he is a genuine caring person who strongly believes in Palestinian rights and is disgusted by Israel's response to the "barbarity" of 7/10. He was, and continues to be very supportive and interested in one of my daughter's mental well being after she struggled badly during lockdown. So I don't believe he is starting these threads to cause arguments
That said, he struggles to see Israel in any positive light and jumped the gun with some of his posting in the days that followed 7/10 whilst the burning bodies were still smouldering. Most of those posts are no longer available to view.
What I will add is that although Banksy doesn't start these threads for a reaction, there are two or three posters who have previously expressed troubling views regarding Jewish people who do join his threads for the sole purpose of trolling those of us with Jewish heritage and Jewish family members. The thread then doers tend to go off track as people are more interested in getting a reaction from other posters rather than the subject being discussed.
