I have read one or two books on professional gamblers and also seen how gambling can ruin lives of those with much more money than I will ever have. I like a bet but I put on less per week now than I did 25 years ago. My advice for anyone is only bet what you can truly afford. Don't chase loses and if you are short of the readies don't expect gambling to help you out.
