Popped by the shop this morning, and the blinds are still down and duct-taped into place with clothing rails in front of them to further prevent access.
I'd assume the the building works aren't 'top secret', so there's something happening out there that the club doesn't want us to see.
On the basis that they've apparently been shut for a few days, maybe filming for the upcoming kit release, rather than a new signing? Unless we've had a conveyor belt of global stars through PR this week in anticipation of a mass reveal in the next few days? |  |

Unfortunately was like this when I visted the club shop 10 days ago, so has been like that for a while. It's very over the top for some stadium upgrades.

That certainly has the ring of truth about it. Certainly lines up well with what seems to be the club's current PR approach: stop people finding out, rather than telling them in a timely manner. | |

It was the same last year with the pitch works, I suspect they don't want people taking photos of any players that may be shown around the ground during negotiations either. | | | |

Well as of Wednesday there wasn't much of massive note and/or unexpected that I could see in the ground (no view of Cobbold though). All the seating had been removed from SAR Block X and the area in West Upper where the new press box is going to be, the Directors Box seating was either removed or covered, couldn't tell. The majority of the advertising hoardings were removed, too.
I'd guess they're doing promo photography for the new kit / training wear and don't want to risk losing the 'big reveal'. I can't remember if the new sponsor for the West Stand is public knowledge yet either, could be another 'reveal' they're trying to protect. |  | | |

Some photoshoot for one of the new kits took place at Framlingham Castle not long ago.
