I’m sorry, but that’s hilarious.

Must win game and they muster one shot on target.

Stuart Armstrong is definitely not made of girders.

I had a double on Hungary win and Germany draw.

Delighted on both counts!

Utter crap as usual.

If not for the tartan army drinking places dry, you wouldn't even remember them being at a major tournament

Have they ever got through a group stage?

No that was their 12th major tournament and never qualified.

England obviously have, but Wales and Northern Ireland have done it a couple of times each.

What is funny is I reckon if that ended 0-0, they would have had 2 pts, and looking at the 3rd place table, they would have probably finished the 4th best 3rd team and qualified.

I can't feel any sympathy for them.

Without wishing to rub salt into any Scottish wounds right now, but it was like watching a League One side out there tonight. Devoid of any real quality . Hungary were just quicker on the break.

Both sides were terrible, but I expected it from Scotland.
Hungary, on the other hand, I expected more of but they were awful too.

Nope. Eight World Cups, three European Championships and never got out of a group.

The passing by Scotland was utter 'pish'. Absolutely no composure. Couldn't handle the high press, no positional sense.

The Hungary goal, at least, showed a bit of incisive passing. Scotland didn't manage any decent passing sequences, didn't play good balls to feet, seemed like they were overstretching for every ball. Disappointing for them.

Without sounding cruel, after Vargus' injury, they could have been ruthless and seized upon the opportunity to attack Hungary when they may well have been rattled. They didn't. And so, Hungary found their feet again, and probably used the horrible injury as an incentive to win.

Particularly embarrassing when basically 3 teams go through the group in this tournament.

'No Scotland, no Party' 😂

The BBC and wider press love the pointless participant angle.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

Yes the love the cliches. No Scotland no party? Ok let’s call the tournament off then. Absolute rubbish.

The reality is that most country’s’ supporters have been brilliant, particularly in this tournament. Albanians, Turks, Dutch as usual, Austrians, Romanian colour, Croatia of course and Ukraine in particular with what they’re up against etc etc.

We’ve got used to “no Scotland” in tournaments.

Nobody has struggled to party without them.

They may not have gone down well on TWTD but the reaction to the Scottish fans in Germany has been very positive which is all that really matters.

Take these from their visit to Cologne for the Swiss game, the first from the mayor of Cologne.

The best part of England's 4-1 over the Dutch in '96 was the Dutch scoring their consolation goal denied Scotland qualification. A perfect day!

I was at Wembley and cheered the Dutch goal (knowing what it meant) - got a few odd looks!

They're going home, they're going home...

I actually like the Scottish fans, know how to party, generally behave far better than England in my experience, but I still laugh when they mess it up. As am sure they will, en masse, when we exit.

Didn't the Scots work really hard on rebranding themselves and cancelling out the hooliganism they once had?

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Absolutely. 1970s they were a 'mare.

Long way from today thankfully. Seen them in Italia 90, France 98 as well as Wembley a few times. Always been a credit to their country from what I have seen, which I can't say for a fair few England fans I have encountered.

Mm have I missed the footage of English fans raping and pillaging their way around Germany?
The incident involving Serbian supporters was according to the British police as much to do with them as to our lot.

This is nice and pleasant. That said, the few times I've been to Germany with England the local authorities generally praise England too. This is because there is actually a load of trouble in Germany with football, they just don't report every scuffle at the weekend like us.

I was in Munich once and Germany Austria was on. There was open, large scale brawling at Beer gardens. The police just handed out 10 minutes of beatings to calm things down.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

It was cringefest at its best..half the population of Scotland following them around in Germany..bagpipes to beat the band lol .and expecting the people to give them a free road for their marches ..follow that with hoof ball..long ball and no balls lol.it was like watching pin ball ..hope if you keep hitting the silver ball it will find its way in to the net .even any of our league one games was ten times more creative and entertaining.. and after all that..1 point. Lol
