Angus Gunn. Salute you - you must be one of the most brain dead players going. Interview after Scotland losing was just embarrassing. Laid claim that they tried their hardest (pathetic joke) and then claimed to be unaware of the name of the Hungarian injured player Varga.
What an absolute turd this guy is. Thick as pig shut…

I nearly posted earlier asking if he’s known to have learning difficulties, as that was a very odd interview. He seemed unable to understand the emotional cues from the interviewer when asked about losing and Varga’s injury, almost giggling about them. His speech was delayed too and slightly slurred. Maybe he’s on the spectrum, and if so fair play for doing an interview. I’ve not heard him speak before though, so don’t know if that’s usual for him.
I'd not be focussing on the player but at the person/people selecting him to do the interview.
Speaking as someone who either freezes or quakes at around Richter scale 7 if asked to speak in public.
His job is football? You could have fooled me after the Germany game 😂.
You are right of course, but given who he plays for it’s too good an opportunity to miss. I’ve done a fair bit of presenting, public speaking and even the odd interview in the dim and distant and personally always enjoyed it, but it’s not for everyone. It’s a skill and I’d hope that footballers get some media training from their clubs.

The funniest interview I have seen is one by Michael Olise. It is in no means offensive but it seemed like it was his first ever time speaking in public.

Maybe I was being harsh questioning his state of mind! You're right of course - he could just be very nervous in front of the camera. Or maybe he was concussed when he got hit. It was still one of the oddest interviews I've seen in a long time.
