Looks like they're already thinking they are going to p*ss the league.
I'm giving them lot 5 games before they are asking for their new manager to be sacked.
Going to be comedy gold again.
Are they really thinking they're going to p*ss the league? As far as I could make out last time I looked, they've got to sell and they're unlikely to buy. How on earth do they think they're going to do well with a rubbish squad, even more threadbare, and with the likes of that old nag up front whose name escapes me a year older. That's insane.
I have quite a few budgie mates and they have been rather bitter and twisted about our last two successful seasons. Reading the Pink Un just now confirms their entire fan base appears to be equally so. Feck em
We have no village green, or a shop.
It's very, very quiet.
I can walk to the pub.

No. Not the sense I get. Most are realistic that this season will be one of transition.
They do have some tasty valuations for the players they will likely need to sell - £20m+ each for Rowe and Sara and £10-15m for Sargent. They may be disappointed.
The loss of £40m in parachute payments also seems to be largely ignored.

To be fair, if standing still is continuing to finish 2nd, I will take that this season.
EDIT: Burnley's biggest issue was losing their best players when they went up. Not only have we secured them, but every player has improved in each of the last two seasons. We are far from standing still, but even if we were, the gap to them still would be widening.

The Hladky thing is a bit of a concern 'right now' of course not so when we sign a keeper, but he was very influential in a high number of our goals and we've lost that, so that's not so good.

That has to be balanced with the fact he is not a Premier League quality keeper. I am a little surprised he didn't take up the contract offer but I am very confident we can get a keeper who is as good overall even if the attacking side is less so. I wouldn't be overly surprised to see Walton as number one.
Yeah, that's rubbish. 20m for one of the best, young upcoming talents in Europe is an absolute deal. With a good season in the Premiership, his value is likely to increase beyond 30m. Under the guidance of McKenna, Hutchinson still has an incredibly long run way in terms of his development.

I can’t recall a young player improve so much in a season as Hutchinson. He went from an impact sub to one of the first names on the team sheet and somebody that absolutely terrorised the opposition by season’s end. The sky is the limit for him.
£20m sounds eye watering. It is but not in PL terms and it’s the nearest thing to a no brainer you are ever going to find in the world of football transfers. The key is that he wants to be here and in addition to ability, he is grounded and fits in.

Well put. Anyone thinking that at £20m, a still improving 20 year old Omari Hutchinson is not a fantastic investment is either a total nutter, a bitter budgie, or both.
Possibly the only better investment we could have made, is the one we have already made in KMc, and that is probably the biggest reason we we're in this fantastic position to be able to attract players like Omari to invest in!

Listening to both interviews they seem to give the impression that Mck has assured them he is here for the long term🤞
