From what I gather (reading around) it's the agent. His the one pumping all of this and leaking stuff. Most likely half of it is true, all a ploy to get a higher fee e.c.t (we've been there) but judging by evertonians, they're interest is cooling off and he would be seen as a squad player. In terms of greaves, I'd say this one is more likely, usually the way we deal and silence speaks volumes. |  | | |

I don't think it's a double deal in the sense of both or neither. Probably more of a case of us putting in a bid for each at the same time and then reporters calling in a double deal - if that makes sense.

Came very close! And slightly different as he and his family already have ties to the club and the area.
But I agree with the one bad season and you're down thing. However, we'd still look more likely than clubs who have been in the division for a while.

Do you not think, looking impartially, that we're favourites to go down, along with the other promoted clubs? History does suggest so and we've largely a team which was playing in League One just over a year ago. You can see why players might look at that when making decisions. However, seems from the HDM that Philogene has been impressed by Town and Kieran McKenna, so we'll have to watch this space! | | | |

With how precise and tight our spending needs to be, I hope the club are ready to move on when things get too ridiculous during negotiations. Especially as we probably need another 6 or 7 players of at least squad level quality, if not key player.
I'm surprised the club are even continuing to deal with this guy given what vibes his agent is giving off. I'm sure if he does well here, his agent will be doing the same stuff next summer to move him on. |  |

I do think hutch could be a crucial bit of business when it comes to attracting other quality signings. I've always believed quality attracts quality, once players can see evidence of the squad we want to and are assembling they'll be sold the project much easier.
