Has anyone ever missed a major final after being injured celebrating the semi win? Could be a first. Really bad luck for him if that’s serious.

but why was a photographer running across the pitch to stop a pitch invader !?! wouldnt be surprised if thats a cruciate ligament torn, Moratas foot gets stuck in the pitch, and he's turning his leg, and the photographers whole weight goes into his knee. knees really dont like impacts like that.

I remember Tony Adams dropping Stephen Morrow on his neck in the League Cup winning pitch celebrations, causing him to miss the FA Cup Final.

Security guard going after a pitch invader, slipped into Morata.
Morata on 23:17 - Jul 9 with 1498 views | Exiled2Surrey | I was rather pleased to see Cavalho sit the semi final out - he is such a good player but at the same time a really unpleasant piece of work - it’s not “experience”, it is cheating. With Morata now consistently getting in on the act, it really is the ugly side of this Spanish team.

Cavalho sounds like a Portuguese player rather than Spanish. By your logic Moore was the ugly side of Ipswich, Kane the ugly side of England etc etc etc. Every centre forward claims the defender came through the back of them, no different to Morata. It's not an ugly side to a team, it's an action that happens in most matches. I thought Morata had a decent game, worked really hard in attack and defence.

Carvajal I'm guessing. Kane is the ugly side of England, you're right. I hate watching him try to win fouls from absolutely nothing challenges. What Morata was doing last night, despite having a good game, was cheating. You can't dress it up.

Correct - the Spain and Real Madrid RB - I was going to check but it was late… There was one example just before Morata came off where the defender got nowhere near him and he went down like a sack of spuds and won the free kick - I am hoping that future refs see this and have that in mind when he next plays (as seemed to be the case with Morsy last year)
