In this age of financial scrutiny and regulation I will never understand why transfer fees and contract length are not published on a central website, transparent for all.

BBC sport stories seem to get worse by the day for accuracy. Really is shameful.

When would a transfer costing several million ever be a 2 year contract!? They don’t happen as doesn’t make any sense.

I’d be surprised if any of these new players are on more than a one year contract on their current terms. Relegation clause writ large and option to jump ship or be pushed out also featuring highly.

What a load of sh1te. Why would we pay out tens of millions just to give out a one year contract?

I'm sure there are relegation clauses to benefit both the club and player. However, this isn't a valid reason to limit the contract to 1 year, or to alter any relevant terms beyond the first year.

BBC Sport regard Chris Sutton (spit) as the next-in-line Predictor to the great "moaner-and-never-happy" Mark Lawrenson.

If they'd employ him then abandon all hope.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

Well if it comes from Nixon, that will be about the 100th Town related story he's got wrong. Bloke literally knows nothing about us and who we're interested in, dealing with etc.

2 years is utter bobbins and whoever at the BBC thinks this should be working in sports journalism.

We ain’t shelling out what could be 10 million just for the player to be able to walk away for free in 2 years are we.

A 2 year contract at 10m would be about £100,000 a week on it's own. Sounds daft to me. But then if Look Norwich say so it must be true ?
