Poll tax riots were 1990. I remember coming back from a Town away game and there were tons of coaches returning from London for the protests.
Edit. Think it was on our way back from Plymouth as it was fairly late and definitely recall seeing lots of coaches at a service stop on the M4 [Post edited 19 Jul 2024 9:30]

Problem is too many right wing commentators spread disinformation as they try to quickly capitalise on this kind if disorder. Thus attracting attention and derision upon themselves and distracting from the actual problem. They would do their cause more good by being calm and measured and gathering some facts before commenting.

I was actually referring to the Muslim scum taking an active role in restoring order to their community that the poster felt should have had the army imposed upon. Funny how he/she/they have jumped in to defend their political allies though. | |
