Doubtful he'd be seen as an alternatve to Broadhead on the left, he played for hull as a no.9 or on the right wing.

Portuguese media were reporting Sporting have agreed terms and want to thrash out a deal with Panathinaikos but other reports saying the latter are now determined to keep him and offer him better terms. One that seems unlikely now anyway. |  |

I suspect Delap will play most of the season on the right and is versatile, he's probably a second striker rather an out and out competitor for Hirst imho | |

Wouldn't surprise me if Hutchinson is the main choice there, at the start of the season at least. I do agree I think we'll sign another but not sure it will be the immediate priority - probably wait and see who is available towards the end of the window, on a loan maybe. |  |
