As I live away from Ipswich I have only seen him live about 20 times and I thought he always looked good. Out of the high ceiling players we had back in the 17/18 season only Webster has met his potential and to some extent Downes. Dozzell has been OK but the rest bombed. I am looking at Kenlock, Huws, and Bishop. Sadly we will never know if Nydam would have made it.
Woolfy was not considered part of that group but he is still here and a good if not great CB. I have a soft spot for him. | | | |

Edmondson as nice a guy as he seems, isn't screaming PL quality to me
I know McKenna likes him because he's faster than Burgess and better against running sides but there must be quicker PL centre backs out there who we would want alternatively?
Axel is fairly athletic but didn't actually look all that great against sides on the break when we pushed up, including the likes of Maidstone
Edmondson like one or two others, isn't quite the quality you want as PL backup really but time will tell if that remains the case
I'm told we are after 4 players currently, despite the supposed quietness on the transfer front and that number seems about right when you think what we still need really |  |
