I'll tell you what, play like that all season and we'll undo a fair few clubs.
Will stay up easily too.

I'm not sure it will be easy but I think we have enough about us to do it.

With a few to come in as well, reckon we will be fine.

My take is:

Good first half, troubled them at times, stopped them playing for the most part. Second half after about 10 mins they upped it and began to play through us. Their quality showed and they deservedly won the game.

The new players showed plenty, lots of good things, plenty to learn. With all the changes, there’s some blending to be done and players to come back. The players gave 100% and when alls said and done, that’s all you can ask.

Good atmosphere in and outside the ground (Liverpool supporters were quiet for much of the game) and it felt almost surreal to see Ipswich in the Premier League again.

I think we will be ok.

Edit: the ref booked our players for breathing too hard and gave Liverpool’s a free pass. Nothing changes with the big clubs

I don't think it will be easy. But when you think 7 of those starting players were in L1 two years ago and gave Liverpool nothing in that first half and with a bit more thought on final pass we could have scored, that is amazing.

Feeling very confident about games against the 'lower half' teams.

Play like that and it will be an absolute rollercoaster (which I think we'll take). We were brave which I love but we will get the odd hammering. Mentally that will be challenging. Just want us up and running on the scoreboard!!

My take is that whilst there were lots of positives today, Liverpool showed how clinical top players will be. We didn't really make any mistakes for the goals, rather they stepped it up and created chances accordingly.

The challenge for KM is to get the three new signings into the side playing the "Ipswich way". Do that, and am sure we'll be fine.

Think they are all potentially an upgrade and can definitely help us improve on where we are.

I think secretly KMc will be happy with the way we played and it was like the game against Leeds where bursts of quality undid us. We’ll learn from it no doubt and one thing for sure the squad will be better by the end of the season.

We’ll stay up and will have a 3 way split between losses draws and wins. 49-50 points this year.

Your last sentence is how I see it. Regardless of how the fixtures land in the running order, we don't want to be sitting on 0 points for long.

Didn't see or hear anything of today as was working away but what I've read so far has seemed largely encouraging and today's game won't define the season.
