Did one of these on another thread at the start of the month to work out who the new signings were replacing from last season's squad - updated version with the signings we've made since then (Can see that one of the issues is that Slicker and AAH didn't count towards the 25 last season, but do now)
Looking at that list, I think we'll definitely be in for a No.9 and another player who can play LW/10 (probably an U21 - we targeted Odobert) - anything more than that we're looking at 1 in, 1 out.

After that, it will come down to who might become available to us that the management deem will improve the squad.
If any of Slicker, Edmundson, Harness or Al Hamadi are still here after the window closes, it no doubt means that we failed to bring in an intended target for their position.

Is Hirst someone we can rely on to stay fit? Lost him for a good chunk of last season and now it looks he could be out for maybe another 3 months. Perhaps he has just been unlucky with injuries or my concern is he's injury prone and is going to be spending a lot of time on the treatment table. |  |

Two quite different injuries and no real longer history before that. At the minute I think he's just unlucky to have two in close proximity.
At this stage in the window I think there's zero chance of him not being considered a key part of the squad for this season. | |

he really, really needs to go out on loan - or probably better still, get a permanent deal somewhere because realistically he's not going to get a look in here now is he. Shame, but the upward trajectory has just been too quick for him to keep up with. |  |
