Well food being affordable for the poorer folk is possibly a good thing no?
I recall reading an article about 10 years ago or so, some free-market piece making the argument that the then $0.99 double cheeseburger from McDonalds was an example of the miracle of capitalism. Never in history has so much nutrition (!) and calories been widely available at that low a price. |
Ultra processed foods being pumped full of cheaper and cheaper "ingredients" to make more money for a very small number of mega corporations is definitely not a good thing
