£3.60 for clubcard holders from tomorrow, £4 for those without.

Disgrace.

Well food being affordable for the poorer folk is possibly a good thing no?

I recall reading an article about 10 years ago or so, some free-market piece making the argument that the then $0.99 double cheeseburger from McDonalds was an example of the miracle of capitalism. Never in history has so much nutrition (!) and calories been widely available at that low a price.

Ultra processed foods being pumped full of cheaper and cheaper "ingredients" to make more money for a very small number of mega corporations is definitely not a good thing

McDonald's are not concerned about nutrition when it comes to being able to sell a burger for under a quid

Wild really, given how long it was at £3 for.

Somehow a Huel is now cheaper than a Meal Deal! Steven Bartlett will be all over that.

Are you for real? You can't seriously be suggesting that buying some bread, or rolls, with some kind of filling, such as ham, cheese, chicken etc, and a multi pack of crisps or some fruit, that would do a few days of lunches would be worth doing, and be far cheaper, are you?

It’s the doing it yourself but I objected to. What’s the point of having a butler and then making your own sarnies?

I've costed my 2 rasher bacon and wet egg sarnie @ £1.00 + the cost of the leccy (which I'm guessing is about 8p).

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?
