I think there is a big argument for getting players in early and getting good value. There is not usually such good value in the January window and we could do with getting the points in the bag before January too.
That said, if we sold someone for big money early in the January window, we may well spend a good chunk of it. However, if we don't sell, I don't think we will be signing many £40M+ players to give us that final push for the title. |  |
