Because she is complicit in some way ?

Without knowing what was in the text messages, who the other people are and where the balance of power lies, it’s impossible for any of us to say how ‘compliant’ they were.

I’m sorry, in all the media coverage of this I just have missed that… can you point me in the direction of a reputable source to back up this claim?

Feck the BBC.

Horrendous institution that have allowed multiple paedo’s carry out their work with no issue whilst robbing us all of a licence fee.

Course they are going to make an example of inappropriate text messages.

Completely agree. There’s lots going on in that company which isn’t in the public domain through one injunction or another. There’s others with questionable behaviour who haven’t been named so I assume this is down to profile and value to the business.

He did say that there were always two sides to a story, so we'll see, in Jenas defence without knowing facts, it's surprising how women tend to give married men the come on...

Big money interview I reckon.

Not sure if it's a big money interview or a threat from the latter - "talk to us about it or we'll reveal everything from the other point of view".

Poll: Who would you play at right centre back on Saturday?

He must have been out all week, securing the coin, coin, coin.

Poll: Who do you blame for our failure to progress?

I've just watched the Kelly and Wrighty show talking about us v Liverpool (in glowing terms) and Kelly Cates (nee Dalglish) was superb as the anchor, Beeb should look at her to replace Lineker on MoTD

Do you want to show your research on this tendency women have for giving married men the come on?

Asking for a married friend

Better to stay silent and be thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt

Yeah fair enough I say, we all make mistakes. Like he says done nothing illegal, hopefully the woman has been dismissed as well though.

Sure worse goes on at the BBC but suppose it depends who you are!

technically there are offences under the communications act and malicious communications act, depending on the nature of the messages sent, that could make what he did very illegal.

unfortunately the police arent that familiar with those laws, neither are politicians for that matter.

I don't know what it is, maybe it's the "I'm safe with you" who knows, I see it at work all the time, my boss left his wife of 30 years and two kids for a colleague pretty recently, it started with flirting, I often used to think that although it's a bit of fun, I bet your wife may not see it like that...could give you loads of other examples, one thing can lead to another..
