First two games very predictable 18:46 - Aug 24 with 1624 views | Linners | Some good things, mostly out of our depth when the opposition turn it on, lots to work on, zero points. Would've been lovely to buck the predictions, but the evidence was pretty clear that it would go this way. I'm sure we'll have a lot of 'season starts next week' posts, which is fine, but you'd have to say that right now Fulham are also way ahead of us as well. Not saying the whole season will be like this, but let's accept that every game is going to be a huge challenge - at least for a while. Beating Fulham would be brilliant, but a point wouldn't be a disaster either - get on the board and keep learning.
First two games very predictable on 18:50 - Aug 24 with 1574 views | burnbudgiesburn | I think it's good that Fulham showed how far we had to go in the cup meeting last season. There can surely be no complacency from any Town fan just because its not Liverpool/City. Every point gained in this division will be hard earned. I think McKenna is right in his pre-season assessment, with new signings bedding in we'll get better as the season goes on.
First two games very predictable on 19:08 - Aug 24 with 1496 views | Kropotkin123 | Fulham aren't way ahead of us. We can win and should be targeting a victory. Based on home and away fixtures and last year's league positions a win would be needed to stay up.

I think in terms of Premier league nouse they are way ahead. I’d be very happy with a point and actually feel we’ll be better prepared and suited to Brighton away. Early days but I think even without Burns, Broady, Hirst were showing some very good signs.

Can I ask, what is this idea that Fulham aren't way ahead of us based on?

First two games very predictable on 06:50 - Aug 25 with 1075 views | ElephantintheRoom | Of the three promoted teams only Leicester have a point = and a slightly streaky one at that against Spurs = which kind of indicates glory seekers and fantasists might be surprised by the likes of Fulham and Forest. Town have handicapped themselves by choosing to go into the season with a bunch of undercooked strangers. McKenna now has to work out if there is a permutation that is better than what he already had…. Which might take quite some time = and the biggest problem for intolerant supporters to come to terms with is that the players confidence can be quickly ground down.

I agree with you're first paragraph. The second is utter tosh and just ruins any point you're trying to make, you really don't help yourself. The majority of the team we've played in the first 2 games is made from the same players that have been with us since League One, so how can they be strangers? | | | | Login to get fewer ads

You must be such fun at parties. I can't work out out if you are a parody, a Norwich fan or just a miserable git. Or maybe all 3
First two games very predictable on 10:04 - Aug 25 with 888 views | oldbeardy | the key is going to be how quickly the new players can be included in the starting 11. I guess we'll see some for Fulham and more after the break
