In all their considerable post-match analysis, we got *one* mention - our goal - but even that was immediately turned into nothing more than a comment on how Sh1tty could maybe marginally improve next time.

Agreed, but it doesn't mean we shouldn't add to the complaints. On Final Score Martin Keown repeatedly said ours was a definite penalty and to watch MOTD to see it - and then they cut it out. There has clearly been a rising level of unconscious bias among PL officials favouring the big clubs for some time now. Added to that it was creepy to see Micah Richards APOLOGIZING for criticising City's defence in conceding the goal, in spite of the fact it was backed up by stats as a weakness. This was an appalling lack of editorial judgement on the part of the MOTD editor and needs calling out. So call 606 tonight, make a formal complaint to the BBC, write to BBC Head of Sport Alex Kay-Jelski, call TalkSport, Sky, make some noise! | | | |

If enough of us do - then who knows? They already have to fend off regular criticism about Lineker’s massive salary (their highest earner I believe). As a license payer, I haven’t complained about that before, assuming he was doing a decent job, but seeing the reality that he is unprofessional, biased, incompetent has changed my mind. Ive never understood how Lineker gets such an easy ride for his MOTD stuff, they even showed it on the behind the scenes of last weeks edition on the One show, all of his bits are scripted, so he's reading lines off an autocue, he's not being spontaneous, though its even more insane they thought Jenas was his likely replacement
fwiw the editor did sound a bit of a Town fan as thats how we got on 1st last week, as apparently it was down to who was going to score most goals, till he decided our game was top pick instead, but hes stuck with what the pundits pick to talk about rather than picks the moments and then lets the pundits talk around them.

We, or rather our captain, needed to get into the referee. And manager to the 4th official. Needs to be coached or this blatant penalty and others as the season goes on will quickly be forgotten. Ref's view wasn't the best. Was more blatant from the camera angles shown. Should've been checked by VAR. Really bad outcome as it was a chance of going in only 3-2 down at HT. | | | |
