I think there's an argument there.
The two goals conceded were very soft, but I think there's a case that once AFC parked the bus, the lack of cohesion within the team hampered the ability to break them down with swift intuitive play. | |

The quality of individual players like Phillips and Clarke was clear to see. We lacked cohesion and teamplay and didn't have sufficient organisation to mark effectively from set pieces. For those reasons we ended up being taken to penalties where they showed better individual ability than us! Delap needs to lead some training sessions on penalty-taking. |  |
