The important stuff….the kits! 08:16 - Aug 29 with 6453 views | itfcjoe | Is it me or do they look really poor quality this year - a bit like the Villa Castore ones where they just get so wet so quickly and just hold all the water so look a wet look kit. Also we def should have worn pink last night as the away clashes with other dark kits. And quality wise, my kids have got a couple of them and the 3rd pink kit and the 3rd GK kit they have are covered in plucks already, it’s like being back in the 90s! There previous ines have all been well worn and not had any - feels like a massive drop in quality this year . Maybe linked to Umbro being taken over by Castore?

The important stuff….the kits! on 17:02 - Aug 29 by Strimmer | 100%. Fulham have the adidas euros template and it looks dynamite. I’d rather have a understated but quality kit than flash but superficial. Especially given our current position. We’re not Napoli look at me look at me, we’re Ipswich Town and we’re here to survive, don’t mind us! |
Agree, feel like some fans got a bit sniffy about having a template, yet the quality was higher and the benchwear options were better. What we have now is another template, in the colour we choose, but with a bespoke print on the front - bit of emperors new clothes really. I doubt that Arsenal or United fans are particularly upset that they dont have their own bespoke design. And the benchwear ranges are so limited that we end up with literally the same stuff as every other umbro club, same colours, except with a different badge.
The important stuff….the kits! on 22:25 - Aug 29 with 730 views | greyhound | There's loads of arguments against China knock off kits, but stick any shirt on a kid and it's plucked or covered in spaghetti bol within 2 weeks. Makes me resent paying the amount I do for genuine kits, especially when they all seem to want the shorts and socks as well! Was speaking to a parent at training last night whi was commenting on how easily the socks just fall apart. Rant over

The important stuff….the kits! on 08:41 - Aug 29 by Dubtractor | Kits were really tough to differentiate on the telly last night. |
They were pretty hard to distinguise live as well. Also couldn't understand why we never wore pink or white.

Adidas might well have a cooler image than umbro, but our kits with them were dull.
The important stuff….the kits! on 09:05 - Aug 30 with 544 views | nodge_blue | I have to say that I do like a white away shirt. And when I wear the Adidas one of about 3 years ago, I prefer the feel of it to the white Umbro third kit of last year. That does feel just a bit more flimsy. The Umbro designs are clearly a bit more thought through and less generic however and you have to credit them for that.

The pink away shirt…. on 09:16 - Aug 30 with 543 views | Bloots | ….is so cheaply made that it’s basically see-through. My missus has it and about 10 years ago it would have been fine, but now it’s not ideal really.

Cheaply made and very expensively sold to mugs. Wearing a replica shirt does not make anyone a better supporter.
