With our next 2 games against teams in claret shirts, some changes of kit will be needed.
Not really concerned with what Villa play in, but which kit will we play in at West Ham?
Chelsea changed from their blue on Saturday for their game against them, and our 2nd kit is a definite no go , and the third has to be far from certain not to be deemed a clash too.

Hopefully the blue against West Ham - we certainly have done before.
That said, it's been a while since we last played them, and one should never underestimate the ability of the FA/EPL to cook up a colour clash where none exists. If the powers that be don't like the blue, I would imagine that it'll be the third shirt. |  |

I think we'll wear blue vs West Ham, but we have (again) made the error o having our away kit as too close a colour to our home kit for colourblind people.
We should have worn pink vs Wimbledon as both kits got wetter and darker as the game went in and against those ludicrously bright advertising boards it was hard to tell on other side of the pitch.
We really need to have an away kit that is very light (i.e white) or very bright (i.e. last years orange) every season |  |

I guess it was simply due to it being blue v blue although I have seen Chelsea wear their blue against City in the past. I'd say it depends on the strength of the shade. I'm not great with colours as I age but I would put our blue a lot nearer to Chelsea than say Everton.
As for the point on the away kit. That Wimbledon game made me hate it. Its too dark. Give me a white or an orange any day. Even a hark back to the 70s yellow and blue wouldn't hurt for a season. On balance, I've always preferred us in white/black away. |  |
