If Reeves announces full nationalisation of the modes of production I'll admit that all of these right wing loons were on to something after all. In the real world however we're likely to see a centre right budget from a centre right chancellor serving in a centre right government.
The cuts they are going for seem to be groups of society that they no longer deem worthy of having benefits they formerly enjoyed. I strongly suspect they'll do away with the single person council tax discount, or at least reduce it to 5% or something. It certainly won't be anything that impacts tax evading big companies or the extremely well off.

A No.10 spokesman has said they wouldn't do away with the single person discount which would affect any adult living without another adult, whatever their age.
To do so (or reduce it) would in any event be very unfair because an individual is more likely to have less income than a couple, and will in many cases use less council services.

I am no lover of Boris (i must be the only person he hasn't tried to sh@g) but I guarantee he would have given a better commendatory speech that Lizzzzz did.
