TEAM on 13:08 - Nov 10 by HighgateBlue | With Axel (hooray!) and Johnson both in, it very much looks like a hybrid this week more than most. When we need Johnson back we've got 3 CBs, and when he goes forward, Axel slides over to cover on the right. Sure, Johnson is not as attack minded as a Burns, or even Davis on the left, but he had a much better game last time out, and I think this looks interesting, especially away at Spurs when we'd be expected to have to work very hard indeed. |
It's the same as we always line up but with Johnson playing the Burns role.

TEAM on 13:05 - Nov 10 by GlasgowBlue | He's not been dropped. McKenna has made a tactical change. I doubt we will see much possession today which won't suit Chaplin. He's at his best when we have the ball and are pinging it around the edge of the opposition box. |
Not selected for a starting place despite two very good performances is indeed being dropped. May well be a tactical change. That's still being dropped. Hutch offers nothing more than chappers in that role.

McK makes selections based on the game plan. Agree with GB, if we are going defensive then that doesn't suit Chappers. I expect we'll see him in the second half though if we are going more adventurous.

TEAM on 13:08 - Nov 10 by gtsb1966 | Don't what has happened there, if anything, but can see him being sold in January. |
He was injured for all of pre-season and has come back and right now others are ahead (fitter and more match sharp). It's difficult for him but he needs to be ready to take a chance when it comes.

Yes he does, he is a much faster runner than Chaplin and can therefore close down spaces a lot quicker when we need to get in defensive shape ( which we will need to do a lot today ). I am sure Chaplin has not made half as much fuss about the decision as some of you on here have.

He also bounces off prem players. Turns into trouble and can't trap a ball when he's playing Central which puts us under pressure. Absolutely agree with his speed and defensively he's a proper ankle nipper but he can that on the right no different to johnson. He's shown he can do that. If Chaplin isn't upset at being dropped then that's disappointing tbh and not what I'd expect of any player. Should always question being excluded especially after two very good performances. Anyways. Let's get ready for the game Coyb!!!

TEAM on 13:03 - Nov 10 by FrimleyBlue | It's also a game where chappers first time passing could get us up the pitch and at goal. Genuinely surprised to see us go away v spurs. Play a defender who's not played for a month or so, drop the link in the forward line the past two games and revert to our unthreatening hutchinson in the middle. Very surprised |
Plus O’Shea isn’t 100% fit. Feel sorry for Woolfie.

Hate to say I told you so but sometimes KM does knows best and some should have more trust in his selections, Omari was outstanding today. Also I didn't say Chaplin wasn't upset upset ( i'm sure he was), I said he wouldn't make as much fuss as some on here. Big difference between being privately disappointed about not starting and and kicking off about it. Anyway great win, we are up and running. COYB indeed!
