Arsenal Tickets Sales 'Profile' 10:19 - Nov 21 with 2968 viewstommcd

The Arsenal Away fixture is now showing as sold-out (the day of the 20+ window), so the Ticket Sales 'Profile' for the Arsenal fixture will be as below:

The Club announced an allocation of 3000 tickets had been provided. The seat-map suggests around 27 wheelchair + assistant spaces, indicating 291 seats retained by the club (probable breakdown; 60 for the Ballot, 231 for 'Club Allocation').

There were 2658 seats sold in 'points-based' sales windows.

1494 (56.21% of available seats) seats sold in the 30+ window.

761 (28.63%) seats sold in the 25+ window.

403 (15.16%) seats sold in the 20+ window.

Points of note:

* Big jump in sales in 30+, most likely due to combination of the popularity of the boxing-boxing-day fixture, members buying immediately in their first available Window to 'make sure' of a ticket for a desirable fixture, plus an amount of band migration.

* This is probably the best indicator we've seen to date to suggest how many members there are in 30+, though inevitably some will still have waited for 25+ before buying or not purchased at all (30+ is still, for the moment, a 'safe-to-pick-and-choose' band).

* This is the first fixture with a high-allocation to sell-out at 20+. Probably due to the Christmas-break fixture popularity. It will be interesting to see if more 'normal' profiles (ie a small number reaching 15+) will resume for Fulham / Liverpool, or if a 20+ sell out becomes the new-normal.

* First actual confirmation that there are already more members in 30+ than there will be Bournemouth Tickets available (it was always going to reach that point eventually, but after this sale we can say with certainty that we're already there).

* The Club avoided a clash of 20+ Arsenal vs Season Ticket Resale Man U, by postponing the Season Ticket Resale until midday.

It will be interesting to see how many more away games it takes for the 20+ to get under 200

Great work Tom

Very interesting to see how the sales have changed game by game and the migration through the brackets. I imagine they won't introduce a different points bracket until we get to Bournemouth.

Fair play to the ticket office for changing the release times so different games don't clash. That's a nightmare for everyone when the queue kicks in!

Just seen a few tickets have popped back up for Arsenal.

Great work, thanks tommcd!

With 1500 fans in the top band (and that number growing every away game), Bournemouth is going to be carnage for trying to get a ticket.

You're absolutely right about the large 30+ jump this week - what happens when the people in the 25+ and 20+ groups join the 30+ level - will it become a crazy top-heavy scramble?

Reckon for Bournemouth they might revert to an invite letter system to prioritise those who have bought every ticket this season to get first dibs? However, how far it's carnage will probably depend what's on it - it's a pain for many people to go down to the South West on a Tuesday night with work next day etc. and if it's a mid-table clash... or dare I say it, we're already relegated... there may be a few will drop off? Particularly if it's one of those weeks where Amazon televises everything? In that respect I guess we can just be thankful it didn't come out on a Sat at 3 - particularly first or last game of the season or Boxing Day.

They'll just do 35+ and 40+ if they need to.

The invite is certainly a consideration, as is the new band introduction as suggested by the poster below.

By the time the Bournemouth game comes around, we will have some of our fans on 50+ - you're right about the attractiveness of the fixture, plus the fact it is being played on a Tuesday

I guess we'll just have to wait and see

Maybe these limited availability games Bournemouth and Brentford should have been/be just straight ballots for everyone to enter equally with no points issued? ... still not totally fair but it's the same for everyone!?

I think the number that will have been to every away game this season may exceed the allocation.

That said, I think demand will be watered down by the fact it’s a long midweek journey, and it’s not a new ground for anyone who’s been a regular away fan in the last 10 - 12 years.

Arsenal got 1307 tickets for their game at Bournemouth last month, so given our ‘club allocation’ has ranged from 200-300, there could well only be 1000 tickets on sale to the fans.

Surely they would need to bring in higher brackets for this? Or old school letters?
