I think he may have mentioned in an article once that there was a stage in his life when he lost time or love for football, maybe I'm misremembering that, but he's also described himself and been described as a lifelong fan enough times for it to be weird if people have invented this. Ah sorry. It wasn't about casting doubt about him being a supporter in general it was more that I can't remember hearing about it before the sponsorship which surprised me personally as I'm a ed music fan. | |
