Is he injured, or just out of favour.

And there was me hoping to see a picture of loads of footballers with one of them being Wolfy 😀

Behind O'Shea, Greaves and Burgess.

I wouldn't classify it as our of favour as such. I guess he would likely still be ahead of Burgess for the Right CB slot but then only if both O'Shea and Greaves we out

Poll: Who do we think McKenna (not you) will partner Greaves with ?

More accurately behind O'Shea for r sided centre back role

I think he's behind in the pecking order now.
For me he's had a hard knock as he was solid at the start of the season and was Prem ready.

I'm not sure O'Shea is an upgrade as he's a good blocker but has poor distribution.

It would be sad if Woolfie moved in January.

O'Shea has been absolute class once he settled in.

You are probably right. Would be interesting to see if O'Shea was out whether Woolfy comes straight back in or if he would shuffle Greaves over. Probably would be Woolf.

Needs to keep his head down for two reasons, if we go down he may find himself first choice again
But also he will get a chance, so if he works hard, keeps improving, he just needs to take his chance. Burgess has done it. We needed reinforcements in these positions, would have been too much pressure on Wolf and Burgess imo. It really is a squad game these days

Poll: If we sing for 90 mins for all remaining games, how many points is it worth?

It emphasises where we are still behind the rest in terms of developing the academy again, which isn’t an overnight or even couple of year project. European and worldwide scouting is the other thing.

He's certainly not good enough for the Premier League and even struggled a bit in the Championship. If you include Tuanzebe as a centre back that pushes Woolfy down to fifth in line. We can only guess if Town were relegated who would get snapped up leaving space for Wolfenden to come back in. But then I'd imagine the brief would be for the manager to get us up to the Premier League again so we wouldn't want to lose too many of our better players.

"He's certainly not good enough for the Premier League."

Based on what? I don't remember any glaring errors when he's played.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

It's definitely a harsh comment and I certainly wouldn't phrase it like. I think Woolfy is a really good CB.

What he doesn't have is the pace or athleticism to be a top class premier League CB. Although it is still possible you have to be an incredible reader of the game. Woolfy can be a bit over laid back by his own admission really. Can be a strength when on the ball and not panicking.

I think he remains a quality squad CB. But we absolutely have a really exciting pair of CBs long term if we can hang on to them in O'Shea and Greaves.

Amazing to realise that ALL your opinions are semi literate angry hot takes. Like Frimmers, if he voted for the Blue Passports and No Foreigners Party.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Weird take. He did well in the matches he played in.

Perhaps I'm semi literate because I was born in the Norfolk and Norwich hospital ? That would explain. Or maybe just like me KM doesn't think he's good enough. By the way I detest Budgies just like the rest of us. Happy Christmas.
