Let's get him to league 2 then and see if he can end the top goalscorer for the second half of the season, that will get his confidence up and getting him running again like an actual footballer / sportsperson.

I don’t know whether AAH deserves it as such but he’s recruited for the role. There is no one else fit recruited for the role. KMcK tends to select players for roles therefore I’d expect AAH to start, subject to fitness. Otherwise we are into any option from SS, CC, NB, WB none of which are stylistically what KMck asks of his 9. I expect we will make something work in the circumstances. | |

Except that Szmodics is best played in the inside left forward position, not as a centre forward. He, Chaplin and Hutchinson need someone operating in front of them to bully and disrupt the defenders, or run at the goalie to make him play.
That is Al Hamadi's specialist position. It's what he's trained for. |
