Sutton on yet another Ipswich wind up........ 11:00 - Dec 26 with 2451 viewsKorrupt

Has anyone seen his prediction for Newcastle against Villa on BBC Sport? He's detestable that guy.

Imagine acknowledging it’s a wind up and STILL biting

I've been finding him quite amusing this season. I may be imagining it, but I think he's actually developed a bit of a soft spot for us

I actually think he was being serious about us.

Made me chuckle when I read it, all good banter isn't it?

I must admit, despite not having an especially high opinion of him in the past for his footballing opinions, his dry humour rather appeals to me.

Amazing that this thread is half a dozen posts and no-one has pointed out that Chris Sutton is a knob.

Chris Sutton is a knob.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

It's so obvious he does it for a reaction.

I don't get upset about it, I just find it a bit sad. I suspect it washes over 99.9 % of people who read that column.

People keep running face first into his lazily held out fist and thinking they are somehow winning.

Truly impaired.

I think that’s a nonsensical take actually - yes he’s chucked in his usual tongue in cheek reference to us, but also gone on to say “I think they will be ruthless at home against Villa too.
Sutton's prediction: 3-1”, which is a fair and rational assessment.

If anything, Eat Anything has a far worse take on us by calling Newcastle “up and down “ and predicting an away win, 0-2.

Current live score is 1-0 btw.

I have a soft spot for him. It's a bog down the bottom of my garden.
