Felt for Jack Clarke 15:59 - Jan 5 with 4798 views | Mullet | He’s struggled so much for us at times, but getting clear and hitting the post like that was so unlucky. For it to trigger the move for the penalty too is salt in the wound.

Felt for Jack Clarke on 16:19 - Jan 5 by Kievthegreat | I agree Davis leaves space, but that's where the shape of the team in responding to his bombs forward is important. Let's face it, Davis overlapping and bombing forward is nothing new and I'm sure the players know their responsibilities to support when he does. Felt like that didn't happen today. I think I'm a bit frustrated at people blaming Davis for the overlap when I'm 100% confident that's exactly what McKenna wants him to do. It's not naive, it's planned. Of course he could do better with the actual tackle, and I think the team could have done better overall. However it feels like we're telling Davis to jump and then blaming him for not staying still. |
I'm not blaming davis for doing it. I'm annoyed at KM for allowing it. It should have been stopped heading into the last 80 minutes. Easy to say defence shuffles over but Fulham had already changed their numbers and we had 5 in attack in that move. We would left gaps all over if they did.

I love what he brings to the team, and am a strong believer in his forward runs, wand of a left foot. He is extremely important to our team. As I have said, it is the decision making this time. It is more important to protect the lead in the last few minutes then to go full attack to score a third goal. Let's leave it with this. We have different opinions about the move. I like Leif and what he does for our team a lot.

Felt for Jack Clarke on 16:15 - Jan 5 by Scuzzer | Just needs a central defender to shift over to cover. Not rocket science. |
Well it kind of is as you are just moving the gap and creating chaos. It only works if the cover comes from the winger, which is Clarke who was busy hitting the post.

Felt for Jack Clarke on 16:32 - Jan 5 with 776 views | Bluedandy | Clarke was on a different level to most players in the Championship last season. The online pelters he gets are extraordinary given how limited his game time has been. In those key moments over the next 18 games his talents could prove crucial in helping keep us in the Premier League.

Felt for Jack Clarke on 16:11 - Jan 5 by TractorWood | The ball was played to their right winger because Leif was out of position. |
But that's just the game, it happens. Not everything is a 'fault' of someone. You could say we're unfortunate that Clarke's shot cannons straight out to them to ping the ball into that channel.

For me that's the biggest issue we are playing 3 CBs for a reason.

Felt for Jack Clarke on 16:02 - Jan 5 by StockholmBlue | I agree, felt sorry for him. He would have needed that goal. BUT what I dont understand is why we were attacking with 5 players in that move. Why did Leif come on an overlap, when we just needed to defend our lead for the 5 minutes left. Bad judgement. |
Attack is the best form of defence…..is it not ? Or would you like to apply for a one to one with our management group .

Genuine question Away from home 90 minutes We are winning 1-2 You think it's wise to have 5 players attacking and having 0 players on the left side of the pitch SHOULD the move break down.. If you belive its right. Then people should also have been off murics back playing football the way KM wanted him too. Many people said muric should have used his head and decided when passes aren't on. So surely davis as the fullback should use his head and realise he didn't need to be providing an overlap in the 90th minute.

Hand on heart, I’m glad that he had the confidence and nerve to take on that shot. In another gave, we could be 1-0 down and needing a player to try something like that (obviously with better luck).

Felt for Jack Clarke on 16:13 - Jan 5 by StockholmBlue | It is OK to have different opinions about this one. I understand the move, and what he creates with it. It is the timing of it that annoys me, because he leaves the space behind him wide open, when we just have to stay behind the ball, make it tight and hard for Fulham to create anything. If we get a break fine, but do not engage half the team in the attack. To me that is understanding the game. But I am Ok with people having different views. |
That’s a lot of hindsight being applied though. If we just camped in our box we are also likely to give a penalty away etc - the real villain today was Morsy with the first one. What he was doing I still can’t work out.
