You literally can't believe that we've gone from fielding Norwood and Jackson in Mckennas start to unleashing Philogene, Omari and Delap.

It shows how far we've come in a few years that we can now put our own version of Barcas MSN and we actually have players who aren't laughing stocks anymore!

It would be criminal if we don't stay up this season if only for the fact we'll lose the chance to activate the clause to take Jens permanently!

I’ll be honest, I actually quite liked Norwood as a player, very much a poor
Man’s delap but he was effective and done the job asked of him.

Norwood was a pub league player and acted like one off the pitch as well. Was a reason why he was back in non-league a year after leaving us.

Really? He was a handful to a point in L1 & L2 but as a footballer, technically he was absolute pony..

He jumped from league 2 to league 1 and still bagged 1 in every 3 games in the league.

Limited player, but worked his socks off and knew where the net was playing in two pretty poor sides for the majority of his time with us.

As a player, did a job in a pretty horrific couple of seasons and contributed in the last with McKenna.

I think it's the whole antics outside that's tarred him and probably rightfully so, but no issues with what he did once he crossed the white line for us.

Let’s not be disingenuous- he was 33 when he slipped back into non-league football.

He was never a pub league player - he was a good L1 player which is where we were at the time.

I doubt that he had the ability to play championship level but that’s not the point. I’m pretty sure KM said some nice things about him when he left.

He scored some goals when we needed em, but he was clearly bought in to help plug the gaps and not build for the future. I think that sums up Evans' entire time here - plug the holes, never repair the deck

He scored goals below league one level for other clubs.

We brought him in when in league one and he was part of the reason why we were a mid table league one team.

He never set league one on fire and soon dropped back down the leagues.

Yeah, it's amazing that in League 1 we had League 1 standard players, and now we're in the Premier League, we have Premier League standard players.

This forum only really needs the top 20 most frequent (the best) posters posting and agreeing with each other. The rest of us should all be confined to the comments section and be derided by those that post here for the rest of our lives.

That should me get 20 "elite-endorsed" up-votes.

If you go for Hutchinson rather than Omari then it would be PHD - giving other teams a footballing education

Bet Norwood could drink him under the table and then drive them both home.
