So you aren't interested that the organisers of the march, including Corbyn, prioritised intimidating Jews leaving a synagogue over peacefully protesting in support of Palestinian people? How odd.

As for my avatar, how is a picture of a recently released British Israeli football fan who was kidnapped and mutilated by Palestinian terrorists in any way gross?

My apologies, my TWTD is showing the avatar as the Israeli flag one.

Mine is too, though I don't really understand why you think it's gross? What concerns me is the repetition of the lie that the march was due to pass the Central London Synagogue.

Well I'm less sure of my distaste given I don't know when it was cached from, but showing support for the Israeli state on the week of them finally ending (some of) the war crimes they've been committing didn't seem particularly respectful and I think dampened the (very valid) support for the release of hostages.

I assume he will be in court on next week and if found guilty will receive a 2 year prion sentence the same as the idiots who rioted in Stockport

I don't believe this is true GB.

They did shift the march away from the synagogue but this incident happened at the end of Whitehall, near Trafalgar Square and thus I believe nowhere near the Central London Synagogue.

Was he actively inciting violence or actively trying to cause criminal damage to a local community?

I saw it more as remembering those murdered on October 7th as part of this tragic cycle of violence than showing support for Israel per se.

That was my previous avatar, which I changed this morning, if you refresh the new one should show. My previous avatar a fading Israeli representing people ascending to the afterlife and the words ā€œremember October 7thā€. I’m at a loss to understand why you feel that would be gross?

The majority of those murdered, raped and mutilated on October were Israeli citizens. That’s the flag of their country. I don’t support the current Israeli government or their actions, I’ve repeatedly said that Netanyahu should stand trial for war crimes. I’m standing with the people of Israel. The use of an Israeli flag is as legitimate as the use of a Palestinian flag, which I take no issue with as Hamas, the elected government in Gaza, does not represent all of the people of Palestine.

If there was a mass terror attack in the USA then people may decide to have the flag of the United States as their avatar with some words of support for the victims. They wouldn’t be supporting the government of Donald Trump.

He definitely should do as the two scenarios are pretty much identical. He's no doubt being protected by his best friend Starmer.

Upping this because I'm enjoying the humour(intentional otherwise) inherent in Starmer being the Dear Leader's bessie.

I stand to be corrected. Just getting in my car so will check but I was of the understanding that he breached the condition. Sure his brother Piers even boasted about it inline. Will check later.

The protest definitely breached a condition as it was supposed to be static, however the breach was to try and lay flowers and speak at Trafalgar Square which I don't think is near the synagogue and people leaving.

The original conditions were to stop the march from beginning at the BBC and moving through London which may have affected people leaving hence the change to a static protest.

Probably not however some people were sentenced for posting messages on social media. They were also dealt with extremely quickly. My son got attacked, it took 6 months for culprit to get into court then he got a slap on the wrist

Organised rioting is much more of a threat to law and order than a random attack.

By posting messages you mean encouraging rioters to attack anyone who doesn’t look white, inciting racial hatred and looting.

You’re being disingenuous by stating that they were sentenced just for posting messages.
