Outside of his craziness, US politics is an absolute shambles. Competing two party system that just reverses / reinstates the same 'executive orders' every four years.
I'm not sure they're long for the first world

Has Executive Orders reversing previous presidential policies always been a thing? If so, how on earth do they get things done? I know that the Tories and Labour are guilty of reversing each others policies over here but there seems to be more continuation over here.

When the main political Party's don't listen this is what you get. The fourth Reich in Germany (Or is it the fifth, if we believe Hitler went to Argentina) and Farage being more popular than the Tories and the current Labour leaders popularity being in the gutter. Like the US we are run by money men as has been seen with Rachel Reeves budget that has seen the cost of borrowing balloon. We had fourteen years of austerity under the Tories and now I doubt very much that in these five years under Labour things will improve much. Labour are looking at ways to improve our economy and in my opinion there are only two ways. More manufacturing which needs lower and not higher costs to them and less personal tax. Things like the NHS shouldn't be everything to everybody ,from Cradle to grave wasn't set up for 70 million people and also foreigners who come over here for operations or childbirth who don't pay anything towards it. Only those with exceptional problems should get free prescriptions at 60 years of age, otherwise they pay until their official retirement age. Those on benefits should have housing paid direct to the landlord or authority. They should have a credit type card to be used for food and clothing and then a certain amount of cash to do what they like with. Giving many of them cash straight into their accounts means that in many cases the money is used for alcohol, gambling and smoking and if the gas or electricity doesn't get paid so tough luck. Meaning those who do pay what they should have to pay more to compensate for the shortfall. It will be interesting to see if Labour gets the long term sick back to work. But I think their current policies whereby industry is asked to pay more will increase rather than decrease the amount of claimants.

Trump criticised Obama for using too many executive orders then went and used far more. His usual mo
