Hey Jude is dreadfully unoriginal and crap 20:32 - Jan 23 with 6691 viewsFromReuserWithLove

at the best of times but trying to get it going as the players run out for the second half is lame - especially when you're three down against Citeh.

Just play Edward Ebenezer Jeremiah Brown or even the great Ipswich Ipswich (Get That Goal). At least they're unique to us.....as nothing else we chant is. BLUUEEE ARMYYY.

Actually if Ed just covered Bringing on back the good times... with ever so slightly adjusted chorus that's my work done !

They should play Amazing Grace which was always sung before the games under Robson it would be fantastic to hear the crowd sing it again. Respect to the Forest Fans who still sing Mull of Kintyre which was a big hit at the time of their great success.
On some occasions in the 70's at Portman You'll never walk alone" would be played just before kick off, I never really understood that but it was impressive to see a mass of blue and white scarves raised in the North stand and Churchmans.

Remember it well - scarves played a big part in football then.
Silk scarves tied around your wrist were also a big thing in the 70s too.

I always get goose bumps when I see and hear Anfield with their scarves held high before the start of a game, which seems to be coming back in vogue with other teams.

We should be singing Ed Sheeran's Perfect before kick off. Just as Liverpool sing You'll Never Walk Alone, Forest sing Mull of Kintyre, Hibs sing Sunshine over Leith and Arsenal sing North London Forever etc.

100% agree. Love it or hate it, its part of our journey and we should own it.

Maybe not the Andrea Bocelli verse though.

I seem to think it was Bobby's favourite song, but I may be making that up.

He didn't take it onto the Desert Island when he went there.

Safe to say I think he's a better manager than culture critic, but it's still better than The very beige MOR selection by Southgate recently:
