They should play Amazing Grace which was always sung before the games under Robson it would be fantastic to hear the crowd sing it again. Respect to the Forest Fans who still sing Mull of Kintyre which was a big hit at the time of their great success. On some occasions in the 70's at Portman You'll never walk alone" would be played just before kick off, I never really understood that but it was impressive to see a mass of blue and white scarves raised in the North stand and Churchmans.

I liked that chant, was effectively two chants alternating, people could take a breath and continue indefinitely. Think I can remember singing it as Johnny Lyall's before George.

There’s loads that don’t.
They sing the first verse, then just as it’s getting going - it stops.
I carry on to the second verse, but very few others. They’ve learnt the first verse, it’s not that hard to learn the next bit.
Obviously a vintage songbut I can't say I remember it being sung when I first went home and away in the mid 80s and into the 90s or even played over the PA. Presume it was revived at some time.

Certainly died away in the late 80s and 90s, but has had a comeback this century.
