To be clear, you’re saying that the Israeli government were warned about that attack, but decided to let it play out (knowing that civilians will be murdered) in order to grab land in Palestine and to get rid (kill) thousands of Palestinians? |  | | |

I am not and never have dismissed what happened on that day. Those events, the brutality of which were exaggerated by many on here btw, do not in any way excuse that which has followed.but are repeatedly referred back to as if in some way they do. It was clear from the beginning what accepting a violent state response to the violence of Hamas would lead to. | |

To be clear I am saying they were made aware of suspicious activity, the exact consequences of which could not be known, but chose not to respond to it and left their border undefended.
