Feel a lot worse for seeing that Leicester result, than I did after Man City, or Liverpool. Spurs are absolute dog shyte and Leicester still struggled, so there’s that at least.

We are 1 point behind safety with plenty of the season left.

Leicester have lost their previous 7 on the trot so, unless this is a sudden change in form, we can expect them to still struggle despite this result against a team we already know are as inconsistent as lumpy custard.

We’ve been saying that for weeks!

The others around us are losing pretty much every week, yet we are still one off the bottom.

Saints is a must win, no doubt about that..

RIP Sir Bobby

I think you answered your own question, nobody wants to wait another 22 years to get to the promised land 🤷‍♂️

The depressing times occurred during the 22 years. Now we are in the ‘promised land’, which is the non-depressing place, right?
Or should I be feeling depressed at the prospect of possibly being depressed again in the future?

If we beat Southampton, Wolves and Leicester, we probably stay up. So let's focus on that. One of those games is coming down the road right now......

Or we have lost 3 on the trot (whilst playing 3 top half sides) and yet still remain in touch with safety.

That doesn’t really make sense!

The point the op was making is even a side that has lost 7 games running overtakes us with just one win!

A win next week will clearly help big time, but we need to start picking up other wins…. And fast!

RIP Sir Bobby

ManCity was one of the most humbling defeats that I’ve watched in 40 odd years following, alongside side earlier draws and losses in games like Soton Brentford or Bournemouth, they were the games when the reality hits how monumental the task is. Seeing a few results turn for opponents is nothing like the rollercoaster emotion of being at the game’s and seeing points taken off the table from my perspective.

Spot on.

This league has three mini leagues in it,and Town are in the 15th -20th league.

We really need to beat Southampton,a draw would be okish, but a loss not happy.

I still think we win finish 17th and that will happen by beating West Ham on the final day.

What evidence is there that we could have 22 years before coming back?

It's like this place has a 'depressing balance' that must be maintained - Frimmers gets hooked and then this Debbie Downer appears to restore order.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Calm down dear.

There’s a week left and if there is a deal that KM wants done they’ll be trying to do it.

Ok sweetheart, how are we doing on this front?

Al Hamadi has gone on loan so will not be 3rd choice. Who will be 3rd choice is much less clear. Philogene? Szmodics? Broadhead? Someone out of contract?

Him or Naylor would be brilliant.

Probably a step too far for Wark or Stockwell now but they would be 3rd and 4th choice!
