So very few of our players linked with a move away from PR 22:04 - Feb 3 with 3720 viewswarky_1970

I think that speaks volumes at the lack of quality we have.

Assuming no surprises - transfer window out of 10? by FrimleyBlue 3 Feb 21:37
I think with Julio we have a back up striker if we need it. So it's a good signing which covers two positions imo

Philogene is one for the future. One we clearly wanted and if the option was to get him this window or lose him to another side then I'm glad we've got it done as he has a very bright future.

Godfrey. Not quite sure what to make of this signing. But after watching johnson and seeing how we miss axel when he's not playing then another option was needed.

Palmer.. good keeper. Not a baller so it's an interesting signing on that front. But he is a shot stopper and a confident keeper in great form.

New left back..
Good to see another youngster come in. I think that's 5 now this season from prem academies into ours. It's important we build that squad up..

I think I'm gonna go with a 7 out of 10.

Next season obv depends on league and who we don't have to sell .but if we do go down. You could say we only have the midfield to look at it with all other positions well covered between this season signings and our promotion winning players.

I’m just being honest. Amazes me that so many accept such a p!as poor attempt at staying up after so many years in the doldrums. Quite frankly I staggered
McKenna still has a job.

In an already saturated field, a late play for dick of the day emerges.

The state of this.
Deary me.

Distortion becomes somehow pure in its wildness.

Not a lot of Liverpool players were linked with moves away - they must all be awful.

I think you'll see him in the next england squad tbh.

He hadn't had call ups before as he hadn't played enough orem fixtures but he's played against some of the leagues best and hasn't looked out of place.

Not forgetting England tend to control the majority of games which we haven't been able to I think tuchel will look at Davis as an attacking outlet over his defensive abilities which have come on leaps and bounds this season.

He definitely won't be in the next England squad or any after that I don't expect. Without the blue tinted glasses he has been very average at best this season. No where near af effective against premier league wingers and full backs. Definitely not ready to make the step to international football imo

Spot on. The same with the valuation that some were putting on him earlier in the season. Think they will be disappointed if and when he is sold.

Blimey this isn't rocket science.

The championship by and large can't afford our top players.
The teams in the premiership either don't believe they offer an upgrade in January (i.e. hit the ground running) or in Delap's case for example probably will not pay our valuation.

The league 1 days are thankfully well behind us. Momentum, a great manager and lets be fair a decent budget got us straight up. We are now scrabbling to build a new side to compete at Premiership level (which for a little more luck may have 20 points right now).

It is better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than it is to open it and remove all doubt.

When we know the potential of those that have been with us a season or two we have no idea of many of the new recruits. Many haven't had game time. The problem is and has been whilst trying to find the right blend and due to injuries several have been in one game and out the next and of course whilst these players are trying to establish themselves we are in a relegation fight. So very difficult for these players because as many have alluded to when in Division One and the Championship we had a relatively settled team. I am sure some will come good and some won't achieve what was expected of them. But name a team in any division that every player brought in is a success ?

Exactly! DeBruyn and Salah “failed” at Chelsea
