Anyone think he should adapt a bit? 08:48 - Feb 23 with 8094 viewstextbackup

Doing what we are isn’t working, at all, is it.

Trusts Wolfie to come on at Villa, but not enough to start vs spurs.

If Oshea is playing RB yesterday he doesn’t get beaten like ‘Ben Godfrey is a blue’ does time and time again.

Quite the narrative you're spinning there - let's add the actual real-world context.....

Frimmers gets himself banned on a regular basis, it's nothing to do with anyone else. I think it's at least 4 times now and once was for calling Phil a dictator.

Then there is the ChrisMakin account which I can't even be bothered to discuss which he got banned as well.

All I've said is that I'm glad he's not selected the team. It's hardly abusive or goading him, it's a factual statement based on the line-up he's selected where I disagree on a number of things. I've barely responded to Frimley since he was allowed back for the 5th time, in fact this might only be my second response to him I think so once again your post looks narrative driven.

The real issue here is you jumping in and getting involved, not anyone else's posting. Take a look at yourself before pointing fingers at others. Even better, why not engage in a debate on why you think my criticism of his team selection is wrong.

The thing I'm most disappointed with is your approach. Liking posts about being happy to upset me - is childish and I'd have hoped beneath you. You haven't defended that point, so maybe you agree.

Personally (a view I'm entitled to) - I think you allow your dislike to cloud your judgement. Even in this response, you can't help but bring up more things from the past. You've downvoted every post from Frimmers on this thread - and until my contribution no-one else's. At the very least, doesn't that seem a bit petty to you? I think it's reached a point where you're approaching the realms of subtle bullying.

You are right that I probably didn't need to jump in - but there have been occasions in the past on here where no-one has where they should have.

There's probably not much to gain in extending this - we fundamentally don't agree with each others approach here and that's okay, we don't have to.

Your response was a false narrative which wrongly portrayed past events and cited past events - of course I am going to respond with clarifications of those past events.

This is a situation entirely of your own making. I've had a discourse with Frimley and he was happy with my post and just wants me to add more context.

I'll be leaving it there, as you say, we aren't going to agree. Hopefully we can have more productive discourse in the future.

For what it’s worth, I’m of the view there IS a bit of a mob culture on here at times. However, I think that’s more political. I also think that’s not happened here. You have somewhat jumped in abit and seen something that wasn’t really there because stuff towards Frimmers in the past.

I also think his Delap points was nonsensical. To suggest we should drop our best player who’s worth 60/70m because he’s scoring goals which could be shared around the team is abit ridiculous. It’s like dropping Haaland last year when he’d scored 14 of City’s first 17 goals in the league. It’s a crazy idea.

I actually like Frimmers and think he does get a hard time on here at times. But not really of late. Not in a while. And not in this thread certainly. Even Frinmers had no issue with Stokies post in reply to Frimmers’ (a post alot of us disagreed with). The only arguing really here is because you’ve leapt to his defence. Which whilst admirable as sometimes it’s good standing up to mob tactics, this just wasn’t the time or need.

That’s my twopence as someone with no dog in the fight who actually gets on with all parties (even the Herbs).

How long before it's not classed as reactionary nonsense? I've been asking for it for a while.
