Just when you think that's it season is done up pop Fulham reserves.
This season has been very cruel, how many early games we thought we were going to win and didn't, the VAR decisions and so on.
It's the hope this year that has killed me which is why I choose not to embrace it, yet come 730 tonight I will be there cheering the boys on.
No doubt we will have a period (we usually do) where you think yes we are going to win this today only for it to be snatched away.
I predict a Delap early goal and late collapse but obviously hope that's not the case.
This is another game like Spurs where normally you wouldn't give us a chance but due to off field events it gives you that hope.
Like 2024 we are now the only team in the league this year not to have won a game, a win would be nice!

You’re right in what you say, there’s plenty of games and points left to play for in the season but when you’re the only team in the EPL that has yet to win a league game this year, it doesn’t bode well. Yes, we can complain that we’ve had some bad luck go against us at times this season, but ultimately we just haven’t been good enough in games. We’ve shot ourselves in the foot too many times, like our defending on Saturday against Spurs - it was like the Keystone cops - that’s not down to bad luck. | |

If we go up again, as obvious as it is to say, we need a good start. Going into every game this season with the media narrative of “Ipswich haven’t won in 20+ years in the Prem” which then became a slow start, which then became only Ipswich haven’t won a game, only Ipswich haven’t won a home game to now just that we aren’t good enough and are buried.
Combine that with last minute goals, dodgy VAR decisions against us, individual mistakes in almost every match costing us and it’s been tough |  |

We know it hasn't been great but £120 million or whatever is naff all when you are using two separate windows to try and bridge the gulf between us who were in League One two years ago and 17 other clubs who have had six uncontested windows to cement their place in the closed shop. And the teams below us, well. they've had either prem or parachute money for over a decade. |  |

Now need at least 17/18 in twelve suggests not,
