Thinking of leaving Sky and signing up to NowTV because what I’m paying is just a joke nowadays. Anyone got any experience with Now TV, is it any good? Be mostly using it for the Sky sports package.

Thanks in advance!

Good luck with that. We tried. We could only sign up for NOW via Sky. Sky more or less said "computer says 'no'" We had to avoid any break in broadband coverage during the changeover and they couldn't guarantee a seamless switch.
We dumped skysports no more deals to be had with them now - - are grateful for anything on Prime or watch Town TV after the event

Get a stick nudge nudge ……£80 a year virtually any game in Europe any time including cups and Internationals….no brainer 🤪

As others have already stated biggest drawback of most online services (including NowTV) is that it isn't real-time. Be sure to turn your phone notifications off for a match.

Nothing worse than Ipswich conceding a corner / freekick and shortly after your phone pings an alert!

£100 per month!!! Wow.

Buy a fire stick, £50 a year, all channels, films, boxset etc... I know it's not legal but man Sky really are taking the p!ss here and I can see why people choose to go another way

Q or kodi has more than a firestick got a mate who loads it up I put loads of apks on it can watch all the pay per view boxing etc. Just pay a tenner more make sure its got at least 64gb or more once u get used to it its great a wireless mouse makes it even easier to use. Sell on amazon ebay etc.

Had NOW TV for a few years. 6 month contract £17.99 plus £2.00 for the Boost which allows for watching on different devices.
When the 6 months is up they automatically put the price up, so I just cancel online. They offer a reduced price, which I decline, then they offer a further reduction, which so far has brought it down to an acceptable level, which I therefore accept.
I assume the coverage is exactly the same as you can get on Sky Sports, but not had that via SKY for ages.

Can you point me to some info on it? PM if you like to keep Mr Ham from getting into trouble lol

Me too, I've heard a lot of chat of cracked sticks and black boxes, but don't really understand how it works and don't have a dodgy mate (as far as I know) who can 'load it up'!

Brother-in-law in Brum has one, but again he has a dodgy mate who came round and installed it. I reckon "Dodgy Mate" has potential as a legitimate brand name. Maybe all the dodgy mates should club together and unionise.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Now TV is Sky, just as a streaming service without the box. What you see is identical. People have mentioned the slight lag, and the other thing is you don’t always get full red button functionality. Having said that, this year Now TV does seem to shown multiple games, so maybe that’s no longer an issue.

Hola, let me speak to the guy who runs the service and see what he thinks. He nornally only offers it to friends and friends of friends, people who can be vouched for and are known in real life. He doesn't want to get too massive as it's just a side project for him that pays for the odd holiday here and there

Also try ringing a couple of times on separate days. They sometimes have different deals/discounts available.

I tried but the best they would do was around £75 a month so I've binned Sky & will be using Now TV for sports when in England. I assume that' it's easy to get it set up on a monthly deal for £35 a month?
