But why must i be subjected to bland pop music during a hotel breakfast? In fact why must i be subjected to other people's poor musical choices almost everywhere i go? It cheapens music and fatigues the ears and mind reducing the impact of the good stuff we choose to listen to.

When I go on holidays I now book bed and breakfast even though my other half only eats breakfast one in three days. But you don't get kids loud music etc, background music is fine.
Going twice this Yr the second hotel in icmeler Turkey only has twenty eight rooms perfecto I can walk in to the noise and then walk away.

Music at breakfast? Aaargh!

What grinds my gears most is music in shops. I hate going in them anyway but if I have to the last thing I need is trying on my trainers to Ed Sheeran or anyone else burbling away.

On that note, had to phone two or three organisations yesterday (no alternative). After the excruciating torture of press button 1, 2, 202, insert the phone where the sun don’t shine routine, onto the endless crematorium music while waiting for some underpaid, disinterested troll to eventually mumble down the phone and you making the same simple request three times over with about as much success as Jimmy Bullard’s all-KFC diet.

And then when you’ve escaped the misery you are left with that wallpaper music forever playing in your head. Grrr

You forgot the requests for " how did we do " surveys to finally send you over the top!

They drive me nuts too. And if you are insane enough to complete one, you’ve doomed yourself to everlasting badgering.

Had one of the cars serviced the other day. Not only did they send me a video of the underside of it with some mechanic mumbling something while waving a big screwdriver about, but then they kept me waiting with a cup of tramps underpants strained coffee after saying it was ready. Then I got the ‘how did we do survey’.

Not sure don’t waste my money on a stupid survey or sump brewed coffee and don’t tell me the car is ready when it’s not was quite the response they were after.

Even the flippin doctors send out those dopey how did we do surveys. Had one after a vaccination. ‘Well I’m still above ground’. What the f else was there to say, ya dopes?!

London as a late nite city barely exists anymore. Not sure how that happened.

Trailing vapour since 1999.

Ans also, stop asking me for an email address for my receipt. Yes I know it cuts down on unnecessary printing but I really don't need an email reminding me that I've bought some screen wash.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

I always refuse. They get confused. And sometimes annoyed.

Someone needs to make it clear through fines that emails inviting you to do surveys of feedback or updating you on services are marketing and should not be sent to people who opted out...

A lot of sites want to to complete a how did we do survey as soon as you enter the site! I mean how stupid. Do these web programmers have any sense?

Doesn't TWTD do a survey once a year and one of the questions is what do we think of TWTD?

- or is that a questionnaire so doesn't count.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

The worst thing is when it's the middle of summer and you have your windows open and some idiot is blasting out their crap taste in music loud enough for the whole street.

A few years ago there was someone who played reggae music really loudly. Reggae is the battenberg of the music world.

Truly impaired.

I think the only one that doesn't ask 'how was it for you' is Andrex and they're probably trying to work out how to do it.

Neff tried to charge me £93 (yes, ninety three pounds) each for four lights for our cooker hood last week. They then sent me a Trustpilot survey link after I'd told them where to go. It wasn't their smartest move - but I was quite restrained.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

Reggae can be quite uplifting. On the other hand Jazz and folk music are both awful.

Went up to Covent Garden for my lads stag do a few years ago. Was hard pressed to find any bars open after 11pm. Doesn't appear to have changed much then.
