I thoroughly enjoyed the YouTube coverage yesterday, being laid up post surgery.

Am always surprised quite how stronger and quicker our players seem to be against the majority of sides in the division. A bit more composure in front of goal would easily have seen double figures.

Great win, well done ladies, hope they get the wins required to see them promoted. I went to see them against Man City in the FA Cup, they performed very well but the WSL is a bit like the PL, a big step up. But the next step is very achievable.

….the WSL was gonna get rid of promotion in and relegation out?

I may be talking rubbish though, I usually do.

I think that was going to be a temporary suspension of relegation in order to expand the division.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

….thanks.

They should do the same in the men’s game, just for this season.

Can I play Mark Ashton bingo for this summer?

Even the step up to the Championship seems huge. Portsmouth got promoted last season with an almost perfect record (W20, D1, L1) and, up until a recent up-tick in form yielded two wins, had been marooned at the bottom with three draws all season.

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.

With the planned expansion of the top 2 leagues, it is a great time to go up. ITFC are resourcing the set-up in recognition of the standard (bear in mind, Ashton / Werhun ran Bristol City at that level).
We will need some good recruitment, in key positions, but equally we have a good squad in most positions.
